Shoe of thought....

So lately in my mind I have been searching the Internet for my perfect wedding shoes and I have found them!!!! But every time I inform people they are royal blue I get the look of shock!!!! Why do we need to stick to stereotypes .... Specially in our big moments of life?!?

Life .... Short or Long?!

sitting here and thinking.... is life too short... or is it too long at the points we want to go fast!

I think both!

Life is short when we are having fun ..... but so slow when we are doing the things we dont want to do!
it does balance it all out but I have decided I am going to spice up my life a bit.... new career challange, maybe a new look .... as I would prefer to have a short life and LOVE it then to have a long life and hate it!

If you surround yourself with loving and kind people your life will become full of love and kindness --- life is simple!

Little treats

One thing I found while being with my lovely is that it is not all about the big things! For example tonight he is at work and is just having an off day so I have gone and brought him a packet of mr happy sweets and will take them to his work for him :) I'm sitting here and wondering what cute gestures others have done for their lovely's

Life as we know it....

Siting here having a cuppa tea surrounded by wedding magazines and happy thoughts going through my mind when I look up and see a regular who lost his wife 6 weeks ago....... It puts everything into perspective - we don't have to spend lots of money to celebrate our love, we need to make it a day where we have The most fun and celebrate our love as we just don't know when life as we know it will change in a heartbeat and our world is turned upside down - LIVE....LAUGH....LOVE

Money--- can't buy you happiness but can help towards it!

I am a sting believer that money can't buy you happiness but I do believe it helps! Now I don't buy crazy expensive things nor do I do all night benders - reasons being is a) I try and be healthy and b) I just don't have the money too - well that is until today when I received a very nice pay rise and as soon as I saw the amount a HUGE smile appeared on my face - because I can not comfortably enjoying going out for a meal and not stress about a bill I have next week - because I can now try and bring some of our dream ideas for our wedding to life --- well I dot think getting married in a castle will become a reality tho lol

So after my experience today I do believe that money can help you towards a form of happiness -- being comfortable with your financial status .... I know that makes me happier

Trains in London

The transportation links in London are definitely one of a kind - at any point they can be cramped like a Tin of sardines or at another point in time empty like a country road back home in Australia - but it is not about the times of when these things happen but the people in them- for a city that is crazy, buzzing and full of life ( which it is in soho on a Wednesday night) these transport links can be the most loneliest places in London --- you can hear the person at the end of the carriage breath! And if people are talking they are whispering - if someone is coughing or sniffing their nose they get glared at but the BEST part of all is that I get to watch this all happen - Transport links I think are the best people watching places ever!


Ok while typing this a police man --- yes in the English police hat-- was running down the platform screaming STOP!!! Don't chase him he is going to jump on the tracks -- so what does my train do-- go along it's merry way and drive off - even tho there is a situation happening lol

First day of what I hope to be a very productive Blog :)


FYI - I am about to start arranging all our Wedding plans with my lovely - so for the next year and a half there will be wedding notes EVERYWHERE but please we will need help so ideas and comments will be greatly appreciated :)  
My lovely and I are total opposites - he LOVES Rock n Roll, tattoos and Drums ... me I love culture, travel and awesome food :) but we work well :)


TTFN I am going to see if I can make this blog cooler :)
